At Cornerstone Weddings, you’re getting more than a beautiful venue in Canmore, Alberta. You’re getting an experienced team that helps bring the whole day together. Your booking includes a dedicated Wedding Coordinator, planning support, a food tasting, day-of coordination, and a team to handle setup and take down (yes, even your own décor).
And because we like to keep things simple, everything dollar you spend with us – from your ceremony and reception package to food, drinks, décor upgrades, and our in-house DJ – counts toward your minimum spend.
The best part? That means fewer moving pieces for you to manage to make planning from hundreds (or thousands) of miles away easy.

Cornerstone Theatre: Moody, romantic, and made for an unforgettable party. Warm barnwood, soaring cathedral ceilings, dramatic theatre lighting and professional sound systems create an intimate atmosphere that completely transforms after dark. Just minutes from downtown Canmore, you’ll exchange vows at Canmore Ranch, an exclusive, private outdoor ceremony venue surrounded by trees and unobstructed mountain views.

The Vista: A touch of the city in the mountains. Light-drenched contemporary interiors, expansive floor-to-ceiling windows and a wrap-around patio put panoramic Rocky Mountain views at the heart of your celebration. Say “I do” on the private rooftop ceremony space before heading inside for a modern, elevated reception surrounded by some of Canmore’s most iconic peaks.

The Rundleview Room: Big mountain views for smaller weddings. Located at the Canmore Nordic Centre, this charming, airy chalet-style venue pairs a cozy reception space with a private outdoor deck and incredible views of Mount Rundle. Choose from two outdoor ceremony settings, including secluded Tree Island, for an intimate celebration that feels completely at home in the mountains.

Fun facts

How did the venue become a wedding venue?

Our iconic Cornerstone Theatre was built in 2002 to host the popular Oh Canada Eh! Dinner Show. But the theatre’s rustic charm and idyllic location soon captured the hearts of couples looking for the perfect place to say, “I do.” By the end of 2014, we traded in our theatre costumes for cocktail attire and became a full-fledged wedding venue.

What is your favorite part about a wedding?

To us, there’s nothing quite like the couple’s grand entrance. Our team loves standing “backstage” with the newlyweds as they buzz with excitement, waiting to hear themselves announced as “Mr(s) and Mrs” and see their stunning décor for the first time.

Did you know?

By the end of 2026, we’ll have celebrated more than 1,500 weddings in the Canadian Rockies. That’s a whole lot of “I do’s,” first dances, champagne toasts, and wedding-day know-how. We dare you to find a more experienced mountain wedding team.
