Fun facts

How did the venue become a wedding venue?

We are proud of our unique Indigenous culture, deep history in the region and long-standing connection to the land. Once a former residential school, the Mission Building was reclaimed under the visionary leadership of the Ktunaxa Nation and transformed into a full-service resort and beacon of light for the community.

What is your favorite part about a wedding?

Our favourite part about a wedding is witnessing the sheer joy of a couple as they exchange their vows and declare their love for each other. It is a heartwarming experience to see their genuine happiness and the love that radiates between them. One particular moment that holds a special place in our hearts is when the couple stands beneath the magnificent Elm tree in the front courtyard, expressing their deepest emotions. The natural beauty of the surroundings enhances the significance of the moment, creating an atmosphere filled with love and romance. It is in these instances that the true essence of the wedding unfolds, reminding us all of the power of love and the beauty of human connection. Witnessing such heartfelt moments is a privilege and a source of immense joy.
