The Barn at Sunset Ranch has pristine views of Mount Princeton, an amazing ceremony site, and elegant yet rustic reception barn to create the perfect setting to declare your love and exchange your vows.
Located in the picturesque mountain town of Buena Vista, Colorado, The Barn at Sunset Ranch is the perfect setting for your wedding, offering a meadow, complete with an arch, seating, and breathtaking views of Mt. Princeton.
The beautiful 5,000 square foot rustic, yet elegant, barn provides more incredible mountain views during your reception. The Barn’s spacious reception area comes complete with a Bridal Room, Groom’s Quarters, a caterer’s staging area including a commercial refrigerator, heating and air conditioning for year-round comfort, and restrooms. Outside the reception barn, you’ll find a patio area with bistro lights, fire pit, game area, and more gorgeous mountain views.
Looking for flexibility? You can select whatever catering option you wish. From delivered pizza to a fully catered event. You may also bring in your own wine, beer, cocktails, and signature drinks to serve at your event. It’s just required that alcohol is served by our preferred drink caterer.

How did the venue become a wedding venue?
Jim and Jayme Greenfield’s passion to create The Barn at Sunset came from planning their own childrens’ weddings and celebrations for friends and family. Just like you, they spent countless hours searching for the perfect venue with the amenities they needed – and within their budget, of course. After many years of prayer, God blessed Jim and Jayme with the perfect piece of land with breathtaking views. They had a vision and desire to provide the perfect location and ideal barn where wonderful memories are made. So, they searched the country for the perfect barn style, and confidently decided on the perfect equestrian design to house their dreams. At over 5,000 square feet, The Barn at Sunset Ranch opens its large barn doors and 4×4 windows to frame the magnificent views of Mount Princeton above the meadow. Three gables also top the pitched roof to welcome sunshine and starry skies. Jim and Jayme Greefiled love serving people and helping them create their dreams of a great party or beautiful wedding. Their heart is to bless the families who visit The Barn at Sunset Ranch and the marriages that begin here. The Barn at Sunset Ranch is more than a beautiful venue where people come to celebrate… it’s a place where foundations are laid and memories are made.
