A wedding at Island Lake Lodge includes private and exclusive access to our lodges, land, and facilities, allowing your group to fully immerse themselves in the experience. Our thoughtfully curated two-day packages accommodate 60–100 guests, giving everyone time to settle in and truly connect — with opportunities to canoe the lake, hike and bike scenic trails, unwind at the spa, and explore the enchanting old-growth forest.
Our Culinary Team works closely with you to craft beautifully composed, seasonal dishes for your Reception Dinner, while also preparing your Arrival Dinner, Wedding Day breakfast and lunch, and Departure Day brunch — ensuring every moment is as seamless as it is delicious.

How did the venue become a wedding venue?
Originally opened as one of the world’s first cat-skiing lodges, Island Lake Lodge has evolved into a breathtaking, multi-season mountain destination. In winter, guests experience some of the finest powder British Columbia has to offer, paired with cozy alpine luxury. When the snow melts, the adventure continues — with scenic hikes, canoeing on the lake, mountain biking through ancient forests, and slow afternoons spent unwinding on our patio or indulging in the spa. It’s the perfect blend of adventure, luxury and relaxation, no matter the season.
