Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms

Chatfield Farms is 700 acres of what was once ranched by the Hildebrand and Green families. The site is nestled against the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and trees line the banks of the Deer Creek that runs through the facility.

Three farmhouses, two barns, farm structures and the one room Deer Creek schoolhouse remain on the property. One barn and farm house and the schoolhouse have been renovated to hold private events. Additional spaces include an open-air chapel, a garden terrace beneath trees laced with twinkle lights, and Deer Creek Stables, which has retractable walls and rustic chandeliers. Incredible views of the foothills and surrounding gardens can be seen from all locations.

When we were forced to change our wedding plans, Brittany offered us a variety of options that helped to relieve a lot of the stress! We decided to use the Open Air Chapel for a small family ceremony. It worked out perfectly and we are so happy that we were able to incorporate Chatfield Farms into our special day. I would definitely recommend this venue for either a full ceremony and reception, or just a beautiful and intimate ceremony site for an elopement.”
