Jackson Hole’s First Apres Ski Bar
We’ve been gettin’ loose since 1967.
The Storied History Of The Mangy Moose:
In 1967 Jackson Hole Mountain Resort began whisking daring skiers to the top of Rendezvous Mountain in a state-of-the-art aerial tram–leaving them to find their own way down. That same year, the Mangy Moose Saloon Spaghetti Emporium and Opera House opened for business. At the time, “The Moose” was practically the only place to belly up to a bar in Teton Village. Known for live concerts, good eats, and for being the best place to get loose after a day on the mountain, the Moose quickly became THE place to go in Jackson Hole.
Wild From The Start:
The Mangy Moose opened its doors at the base of Rendezvous Mountain in 1967 and quickly became a Jackson Hole hotspot for music and late-night antics.
