Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art is a historic landmark located in the heart of downtown Boulder.
Facing the beautiful Central Park and just three blocks from Pearl Street Mall, BMoCA is the ideal location for your event. Each season BMoCA’s galleries are transformed by a new group of world-renowned artists.
The artwork presents a unique backdrop for your event and an opportunity for all guests to experience the vision of contemporary artists. In addition to the exquisite galleries, there is a dedicated modern event space on the second level that can be tailored to suit your vision.

BMoCA is a nonprofit organization, and venue rental income directly supports the museum’s exhibitions, programs, and outreach initiatives.

How did the venue become a wedding venue?
BMoCA’s journey as a wedding venue grew naturally from its role as a gathering place for art, creativity, and community in the heart of downtown Boulder. BMoCA has been in the community since 1972, and over time couples began to choose the museum’s galleries and historic building as an unexpected backdrop for celebrations. Our museum is somewhere that feels both distinctly Boulder and offers something different from a traditional event venue. Weddings at BMoCA bring together contemporary art and each couple’s own vision to create celebrations that are truly one of a kind.
What is your favorite part about a wedding?
We love seeing the unique and artsy couples who choose to celebrate here at the museum. Every event is different, but our favorite part is seeing the couples and wedding guests enjoy the art around them.
