Hatley Castle is always ready for its closeup. You could say Hatley Park has movie-star good looks. It's no surprise that the iconic Hatley Castle and surrounding grounds have appeared onscreen in dozens of domestic and international feature films and TV series. The castle had a repeated role as Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters in the X-Men franchise, including Deadpool films, starring Vancouver-born actor Ryan Reynolds. It also stood in for Lex Luthor's lair in series Smallville and the Queen family mansion in TV's Arrow.
