Fun facts
How did the venue become a wedding venue?
Snow King Mountain began as Wyoming’s oldest ski resort over 85 years ago and has been on an exciting evolution ever since. While Snow King has long been a beloved local landmark, it only officially became a formal wedding venue within the past year—following years of thoughtful planning, construction, and approvals that brought our scenic gondola and summit facilities to life. We always knew we had something special: unmatched Teton views, an iconic mountaintop setting, and unparalleled proximity to Town Square. Now, we’re thrilled to share that magic with couples seeking a truly unforgettable place to say “I do.” What started as a historic ski hill has grown into a four-season mountain destination and now, one of Jackson Hole’s premier wedding venues.
What is your favorite part about a wedding?
Our favorite moment is just after dinner, as the sun begins to set and the mountain grows quiet outside. The energy shifts, anticipation builds, and we start lowering the retractable windows of our glass-enclosed patio. Guests always stop and watch as the space transforms, the alpine air flows in, alpenglow fills the sky, and the dance floor comes alive. It’s the perfect blend of breathtaking scenery and pure celebration. An unforgettable way to kick off an incredible party.
