
Five bridesmaids in black gowns carried bouquets of trailing burgundy amaranth, calla lilies, and dark scabiosa against an Alberta fall backdrop of golden aspens. Abigail’s own bouquet leaned wilder, with pink anthurium, calla lilies, and feathery fern spilling out of a strapless white gown with a scarf detail. Inside the tent reception, farm tables were set with sage green napkins, copper chargers, black taper candles, and centerpieces so overgrown with dark foliage and pink blooms they looked like they came straight out of the ground.
