Beige and Chic Mountain-Boho Wedding

“What a whirlwind our wedding journey has been! After getting engaged in 2019, planning a whole wedding in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for 2020 and multiple postponements – we finally were able to tie the knot in August 2022! After having our son, Grayson, we decided to pivot and plan a more local, mountain wedding instead at our favorite spot – Jasper Park Lodge. Everything worked out the way it was meant to be because he was able to be there for our special day. Planning an entirely new wedding, came with finding new and local vendors to the area as well. We are so fortunate to have worked with the team we did to make our dream day come true! Our inspiration stemmed from mountain boho-chic with lots of neutrals to allow the landscape to be the focal point. Our florals were designed with a combination of roses, greenery and dried grasses to give a romantic and elegant feel. We were able to repurpose most of our florals and decor from the outdoor ceremony and tie them in with the reception area. One of my favorite parts of our decor/florals was that I was able to create forever arrangements using everything that was dried! Thanks to our planning team, the entire vision was brought to life and our wedding was more than we could have asked for!

We were welcomed by the largest wedding party we’ve ever shot, who kept the day rolling with their ready-for-anything attitudes and goofy inside jokes. It truly felt like every single individual in their 18-person wedding party was TEAM Toria & Josh. Ben and I felt so lucky to be chosen as team captains for the day (lucky number 19 & 20). The “little” details extended beyond florals & table numbers; the couple included first looks with five indiviudal family members and bridesmaids, a rather GRAND entrance by their son in his “my mom & dad just got hitched” Ford Raptor, separate vows to their son during the ceremony, a bride-and-groom-only first look at their tediously curated reception space, a bar marker for their family dog, a bacon donut bar, and to top to all off (with tears in EVERYONE’S eyes) – a personalized song played and sung by a close friend during their first dance as a married couple. Toria & Josh’s wedding day was one we walked away from with sore cheeks from laughing the entire day. Toria & Josh are our favourite couples to work with and their wedding day was no exception. From the STUNNING floral arrangements to the emotional family moments, every little creative detail left us in awe. After months of exhaustive planning & re-planning, they deserved every wonderful & memorable piece of this wedding day!”
