“Scott and I were together for 11 years before finally tying the knot and we couldn’t wait to seal the deal and share this beautiful moment with all of our friends and family. One of the most memorable moments was a private vow reading we did before the ceremony. We each stood on either side of the door and still didn’t see each other before the ceremony but this was a special private moment for the both of us and just amazing to connect before we were in front of everyone. The venue was beautiful, being able to walk down the aisle with the pond behind us, and our guests loved having lawn games and being able to enjoy activities during the cocktail hour. We really wanted an elegant wedding, yet with a little bit of a boho theme. Our florist, Calyx, really listened to what we wanted and the flowers totally made the wedding! If you are going to spend money, make sure it’s on flowers as that is the biggest decor piece! If I can offer any advice to newlyweds, if you want something, then just do it because this day only comes once and chances are if it means a lot to you, then you will be happy you made the choice to incorporate it into your special day!”
