“Natascha and Kurtis were not only celebrating their wedding day but also marking their 10th anniversary as a couple, making the occasion even more special! In the 10 years they’ve been together, they have had two dogs and developed a love for traveling and trying new foods. As foodies, they knew the Brix and Mortar would be the perfect venue for their wedding, being one of the most popular dining spots in Vancouver. This wedding venue, located in the heart of Vancouver, was beautifully decorated with candles placed all along the tables and scattered around the ceremony space. The soft glow of the candles created a magical atmosphere, perfectly capturing the couple’s vision of a dark and moody wedding, with the candles serving as the main source of light. The bride’s getting-ready photos and first look were captured at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, an iconic landmark that opened in 1939. The hotel’s architecture and intricate details make you feel as though you’ve stepped into a European castle! The groom’s getting-ready photos were taken at their penthouse in downtown Vancouver, just a short distance from the hotel. ‘We met in 2014 through a cousin, we went to a movie. Hung out from there and happened to go to the same university, so our fondness grew over sessions in the library. We started dating in 2015 and have been together for 10 years on the day of our wedding. We love to travel, we’re foodies and have two dogs together.'”
