“Joyce and Sean celebrated their wedding at Sean’s parents’ home—an 18th-century estate on a 70-acre farm in Ladner, British Columbia. The home, which has appeared on Netflix’s The Fall of the House of Usher, set the tone for a day full of vintage charm and heartfelt moments. With about 60 guests, their celebration was warm, intentional, and intimate. Their vision centered around natural, documentary-style photography, lush plant decor, and timeless styling. Highlights included a moving poem written by Sean’s mother, a drag performance that brought joy and energy to the room, and their beloved dog joining in on the fun. Every part of the day felt deeply personal, relaxed, and true to them.”
