“Tucked into the forgotten foothills of the La Madre Mountains, just beyond Red Rock Canyon, this styled elopement was created to feel like a love story unfolding in the middle of nowhere; just like love often does, quietly appearing when and where it’s least expected. Our vision was to design a lush, romantic floral monolith in the rugged desert, letting bold color bloom against the soft, neutral tones of the landscape for a look that felt both striking and surreal. The floral design leaned into bold texture and modern edge, grouping sculptural blooms like Gloriosa Lily and Facetto Anthurium for a stylized, couture-inspired touch. Rodeo hydrangea added fullness and a subtle nod to the area’s western roots, while layers of hand-reflexed roses and hanging amaranths softened the overall look with rich drape and movement. The bouquet mirrored the installation’s palette and structure—floral-forward and textural, designed to feel both artful and untamed. Wind swept through the valley that day, catching the blooms and charging the scene with an electric sense of anticipation, like a ceremony was about to begin. This shoot was made possible by the vision and leadership of hosting photographer Riann Hassell, and an expert team of creatives who brought the concept to life—meticulous day-of coordination, ethereal hair and makeup, a dreamy wardrobe, curated stationery, and thoughtful styling down to the last detail.
