“One of our first trips while dating was to Jackson Hole, Wyoming and we couldn’t have had a more perfect spot for our wedding celebration. We wanted the weekend to be a fun adventure for all our loved ones – and let them experience the breathtaking beauty of Jackson in the fall. We chose our wedding theme and style by trying to match the landscape and venue as much as possible. We wanted minimalistic details to showcase the natural beauty of the National Park and match the fall tones. For our alter, we went with simple earthy structural ground florals. My mom custom designed our gorgeous invitation suite. Our advice to future couples, don’t worry about all the wedding expectations and just plan a wedding you would want to attend. You never know what will happen. On our drive to the venue in the morning, we found out there was a fire in the Tetons so smoke covered the view of the mountains. To say I was disappointed was an understatement because we had decided on the venue and the destination of Jackson Hole, largely for the mountains. As I began to get emotionally, I reminded myself I was still getting to marry the love of my life with all my friends and family. The ceremony ended up having to get pushed back because the bus transporting the guests got stuck behind buffalo crossing. Which couldn’t have been more perfect as the smoke begin to clear showing the Tetons just in time for the ceremony. YAY BUFFALO! The weekend was intimate and beautiful. The ceremony and reception were surrounded by the mountains which was my dream come true and of course, nothing beats ending the night dancing at the cowboy bar!”
