“When Nick and I talked about our elopement, it involved going overseas. We wanted somewhere with cliffs and mountains but also somewhere we could make it an adventure. As many experienced, Covid changed our plans. We were tasked with finding a new getaway in the US. Having visited Santa Fe, NM before with family, we were familiar with the area and had nothing quite like it near Tulsa, Oklahoma. From the moment we decided on Santa Fe everything worked out perfectly. Which was surprising to us and very lucky considering everything was researched, purchased, and scheduled online without seeing or meeting anyone in person. We couldn’t and still can’t believe our luck! A few days before our wedding we packed up our car and drove to Santa Fe. Arriving the day before our elopement we secured our marriage license and spent the afternoon walking around Santa Fe enjoying the art, food, and fresh October air. The day of our wedding couldn’t have been more fun or gone more smoothly. We started our day with brunch, some shopping, and then went back to the house to get ready. Fortunately for us, Nick’s two sisters joined us. Things definitely wouldn’t have gone as smoothly without them. So we can’t say it was all luck! Eloping in Santa Fe was everything we had hoped for. We were able to capture the picturesque landscape, work with some really fantastic people, share it with family, and most importantly get married!”
