Falon + Carter
Falon and Carter were married on New Year’s Day in Park City, Utah. Guests enjoyed a joyous evening filled with fireworks, flaming desserts and a live jazz band for their rehearsal dinner on New Year’s Eve, as the to-be newlyweds counted down the minutes to their wedding day. Their ceremony, held at the Montage in Deer Valley, focused on the love that the bride and groom shared, as well as the beautiful landscape of the snowcapped Utah mountains. We utilized ample candlelight, fur throws for the guests, and lush floral installations to give a cozy, romantic feeling. After the ceremony, guests were taking up a scenic mountainside path just as the sun was setting over the mountains and walked into a cozy cocktail hour complete with signature cocktails: the bride’s a ginger and pear hot toddy and the groom’s a twist on the classic old fashioned. For the reception, guests were led into a clear top tent, showcasing the mountain peaks above hundreds of twinkle lights. A bright, winter palette full of whites, creams, taupe-y beige and touches of dusty blush set the tone for a romantic evening, while luxurious velvet textures, antler chandeliers and oversized centerpieces comprised of manzanita branches exuded elegance. This was one of our all-time favorite weddings to plan and design, from the custom localized welcome boxes down to the organza-covered flatware and specialty vellum menus with wax seals for guests’ place settings.
