Love Story

Our story started long before we knew. Our paths crossed early in our lives as children, when we met in middle school. We always knew who the other was, but never really connected. Throughout the next twenty years, we strangely continued to cross paths, running into each other at the most random times and places. Eventually we both decided that we should get to know each other better. It started out when Adam decided to pursue me through sending a message via social media, inviting me to dinner. Initially, I kindly ignored his attempts. But he definitely had my attention. Then we somehow ended up on the same snow boarding trip. And the rest is history. It’s almost as if the universe was not going to give up on us. We’ve been inseparable ever since. On December 29, 2019, Adam proposed to me as we were celebrating Christmas a few days late. He had asked my young son for my hand in marriage. My son was filming the entire thing as Adam said there was one gift left. We immediately started planning our wedding! When it came time to pick a venue, we both fell in love with the Tamaya, especially the Cottonwood Pavilions. This intimate location was the perfect, most picturesque setting to get married and celebrate with our friends and family. Though we had to delay the wedding several times due to the pandemic, the Tamaya was a dream to work with. We were surrounded by the people we love the most, and it couldn’t have been more perfect!
