Menswear deserves its moment too! 2023 was a year full of Rocky Mountain grooms showing off their personal style – from classic tuxes to western wear. We’ve gathered our absolute favorite menswear looks from the 2023 season into one blog, so keep reading to find out which 11 suits made our list this year!
Cory & Zachary were both studs in their suits! The color palette of their entire Colorado wedding was actually inspired by Zachary’s custom orange cashmere tuxedo from NL Suits – it helped set the warm tone for the wedding day (on top of being so stylish!) while sailing to the top of our 2o23 favorites list. See more of their tailored tuxes online in our national V8 issue.
This deep green suit from SuitShop was the perfect addition to a Southwestern color palette. We love that it still looks like “classic groom”, but at second glance has a subtle twist of personal style with a green shade! See more of this suit style in our New Mexico 2023 issue.
This suit is a not-so-subtle green, and it is working for us! The textured pinstripes add even more appeal, giving Brock the bold look he deserves on his biggest day ever. See more of this Sew Generously suit in our Wyoming 2023 magazine.
Chris looked luxe in cream, and the subtle pattern of his Bespoke Edge suit tied in perfectly with his bride Rachael’s sparkly pantsuit. The simple, chic black bowtie was the perfect accessory to make this suit just right for their Speakeasy themed reception in Aspen. Check out more of this “dressed to the nines” look on C&R’s full wedding day blog here.
Lindsay & RJ hosted a polished & pretty wedding in the mountains of Colorado, and the groom gets some attention for his gorgeous suit! RJ’s R6 Clothier blue velvet jacket with a black lapel stood out against the vistas, and stands out on our 2023 favorites list. See more of his style on L&RJ’s Breckenridge wedding blog here.
You can never go wrong with a black tuxedo and bowtie! Joshua’s SuitShop tux looked so luxe against the snowy Banff backdrop, and we especially love the added shine on the lapel. Check out more of this sleep menswear in our Canada Fall/Winter 2023 issue.
Our Jonrah Events knew exactly how to dress her menswear model for this black and white styled shoot. This black tux & bowtie from SuitShop looked sophisticated and sexy, but there’s just something about adding suspenders to the look that we absolutely love! See more of this suspender suit look in our Canada Fall/Winter 2023 magazine.
Layton looked like a true cowboy of a groom with his black hat, boots, and big western belt buckle. He and his groomsmen suited up and saddled up to ride through the fields of Alberta before Layton & Brooke got “hitched”. Find more western menswear inspo from L&B’s warm fall wedding day in our Canada Fall/Winter 2023 magazine.
Charles’ suit had a gorgeous, deep blue hue to it and a soft texture that helped it lean a little more western with his bolo tie. He & Victoria wed in early fall in Breckenridge, so his suit was the perfect color and texture for an outdoor wedding in the Colorado sunshine. Anthony added his own aesthetic to he & Becca’s Boulder wedding day, with a blue suit that contrasted with a black lapel and bowtie. We think this spin on a classic tuxedo was so stylish, and we hope to see more suits like this one from Suitsupply in the new year. See more of Anthony’s blues in Boulder in our Colorado Fall/Winter 2023 magazine.
Sarah & Zac said “I do” in Jackson, Wyoming, and Zac wore the perfect suit for the setting. We love the uniqueness of his embroidered/painted jacket, and he even managed to grow the perfect mustache as an accessory for this cowboy-chic groom’s attire. See more of this *iconic* western wear in our National magazine.
