Timeless Soft Pink I Dos in Vancouver

“Kendra and Trevor met ‘the old fashioned way’, introduced by mutual friends while at a party and if you had to try and describe their wedding in the most simplified terms, it would be glamorous and cool. Simultaneously gorgeous and stylish human beings, their day was precisely what you’d imagine it would be. Starting at their downtown Vancouver apartment, Kendra and her close friends and family got ready for the wedding together with the help of some of the best local Vancouver hair and makeup artists Alisha Hopes and Clara Leung. From the beginning it was clear these wedding day details were thoughtfully planned and curated. After exchanging personalized gifts and handwritten letters with her bridesmaids and mom, Kendra stepped into her wedding gown in front of her heirloom vanity. According to Kendra, ‘the morning getting ready with my ladies was such a special moment, especially because it happened in our home. Some of my favourite pictures are from these moments, captured so beautifully. Even the vanity that was passed down in my family. I’ve been putting my makeup on there since I was a young teenager.’ Something of note about Kendra and Trevor’s day is that they opted not to have a ‘first look’. Their first time seeing each other would be during the ceremony. But, Kendra did have a first look moment with her father – and, as you can see, it was an incredibly sweet moment. Musical Occasions performed lovely instrumental versions of some of the couples favourite songs prior to and during their ceremony at UBC Botanical Garden’s Roseline Amphitheatre. Kendra, looking ethereal, wore her blusher veil right up until their first kiss. The remainder of the day and night was spent at Cecil Green Park House, styled beautifully by Bespoke Decor featuring soft shades of pink and white that glowed during their romantic golden hour dinner on the terrace. Toasts and traditional Ukrainian wedding songs were shared before the couple finally got to dig into the amazing cake by The Cake and the Giraffe – which, when complimented on, Kendra and Trevor made clear that ‘the cake was not an afterthought.’ Trilojay performed live music to close out the wedding with a reception party to remember.”
