“Gillen proposed in Maggie Valley, NC on a ski trip we took for just the weekend, our whole day was kind of messed up because skiing was sold out so we decided to just go on a hike. About half way through the hike he dropped down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Easiest yes ever! When I finally turned around, one of my very best friends who is a photographer popped out of the woods and had been photographing the whole thing!! She drove all the way from Georgia to North Carolina to do that! It was so well planned and he did a really good job at keeping it from me.”
