“Amanda and Justin are actually good friends of mine, best friends in fact. After six years of dating, Justin had invited myself and a few of our other good friends to capture his epic proposal to Amanda at a castle in Napa Valley, no less. After a wine-filled, surprise proposal with friends in California, it was time to start planning their intimate, whimsical wedding at the
Wedgewood Tapestry House in the beautiful Fort Collins, Colorado. These two had certainly faced their fair share of difficulties while planning their wedding in the midst of a pandemic, but all that mattered was that their closest friends + loved ones were able to safely witness their long-awaited ceremony. Even with a parred-down guest list, Justin and Amanda both still shared an aversion to excessive attention on them, even on their wedding day. As a result, the two decided to privately share their sweetly-written vows with solely one another, all while having this precious memory captured for them at a distance. If I had to pick my favorite moment from that momentous day, it would absolutely have to be watching two of my very best friends quietly whisper their words of commitment and everlasting love to one another, solidifying their relationship as husband and wife from that day forwards. Let’s just say that I am grateful for my camera’s water resistance because I don’t think I had a dry eye at any point that day.”
