Love Notes
I truly don’t have enough words to express how incredible Stephanie was as our wedding photographer! From the very beginning, she brought such a fun, relaxed, and joyful energy to the day—it felt like having a close friend behind the camera rather than a vendor. She has this effortless way of making you feel at ease, which made all the difference for someone like me who doesn’t typically love being the center of attention or in front of a camera.
Stephanie’s sense of humor had us laughing all day, and her creativity? Next level. She somehow managed to catch every little moment—every happy tear, every burst of laughter, every fleeting glance—with such artistry and heart. The photos I’ve received so far are nothing short of stunning, from the beautifully composed portraits to the candid snapshots that feel like little time capsules of the most perfect day of my life.
I can’t recommend her enough. She’s not just a photographer—she’s a new friend, a hype woman, and an absolute gem of a human being. If you’re lucky enough to book Stephanie, know that you’re in the very best hands!

We cannot recommend Stephanie enough! From start to finish, she exceeded all of our expectations. She was incredibly responsive, caring, and truly went above and beyond to make sure our elopement was captured perfectly. Stephanie’s talent as an artist is unmatched – the photos she took of our intimate day are nothing short of breathtaking. We feel so fortunate to have chosen her, especially since our special day was on Valentine’s Day. Thank you so much, Stephanie! We will absolutely be booking you again for future milestones!

The best of the best. Stephanie blew my husband and I's expectations out of the water for our wedding. The photos are incredible and we were so comfortable taking them. Our guests raved about her and she was so much fun to work with! I couldn't recommend anyone better.

I found SLC Portraiture on social media when searching for a photographer to take our photos while vacationing in Phoenix. The hubs and I were looking to capture the rugged beauty of the desert but didn’t want typical posed photographs. When I saw Stephanie’s beautiful work, I knew she was the one for the job. Being from Indiana, and not familiar with the area, Stephanie made the process simple. She suggested the photography site, gave hair/makeup recommendations and removed all of the stress in planning. She is so warm and made us feel comfortable immediately. She gave us gentle direction and made the shoot such a fun and relaxing experience (even in 115 degree weather!) Stephanie’s talents are unique and you can see this demonstrated in her framing/positioning and use of light. She has a raw, moody approach to her photography that cannot be duplicated. I cannot tell you how many people have reached out to us complementing Stephanie’s work. Do yourself a favor and hire this woman immediately to capture your precious moments.

Fun facts
What do you consider your style to be?
My style of photography can be characterized as luxuriously rustic storytelling. A blend of refined aesthetics and raw authenticity, all directed toward adventurous souls in moments of intimacy, transformation and connection.
How did you get started in the wedding industry?
I was born Ahwatukee Arizona and lived there till I was 23 years old. I had moved to Los Angeles where for ten years had been a truck driver for the movie industry. In 2020 the world stopped and I found out I was pregnant. I knew I couldn't work the 90 hour work weeks anymore because I wanted to be present for my children. I had moved back home to Arizona and had decided to pick up the camera to keep myself busy (little hobby as they say) and I haven't put it down since. I originally stared my career capturing families and couples. Those couples then wanted to keep me around for their most special days. I never intended on being a Wedding Photographer it just sort of fell into my lap and I couldn't be more grateful to be able to capture all types of love throughout the world!
Do you travel for clients? If so, where?
I do indeed travel! Its my favorite thing to do and such an honor that couples around the world the choose little ole me to take on their most special day. Recent travels have been to Hawaii, Mexico, Idaho, California, Oregon, Texas, Las Vegas, Utah, and very soon North Carolina. Fingers crossed for any Colorado and Montana weddings.
What is your favorite part about a wedding?
I am an absolute sucker for getting ready moments. There is so much beauty in putting on the dress. It can be both quiet/calm and chaotic all at the same time. Its an energy and its in those moments that feel truly organic for every individual.
