“Haeley and Ryan’s love story is a testament to the enduring power of high school sweethearts. Their journey began at a local mini golf and go-kart center, where their paths crossed during their first summer jobs in high school. From the very start, there was an undeniable spark between them, as evidenced by Ryan’s first words to Haeley: ‘you’re a gem’, after she handed him his paycheck. Their relationship blossomed throughout their time at the University of Colorado, where they pursued their dreams side by side. Their love only deepened over the years, culminating in a breathtaking engagement atop the Stratosphere hotel in Las Vegas in 2021. Finally, after seven years of dating, on August 6th, 2023, they exchanged vows, fulfilling the dreams they had shared as wide-eyed teenagers. When preparing for the wedding, Haeley and Ryan made it a goal that when their future children view their wedding photos, they wouldn’t be able to tell which decade they got married in. They wanted something very timeless and classic, but still unique and memorable. The couple hinted at their love for the Wild West through the bride’s second outfit which featured her ‘something blue’ cowboy boots and their cowboy hats for not only themselves, but their guests too. And of course, it wouldn’t be a party without a mechanical bull… one of the highlights of the night! The bride’s grandparents were married almost 60 years, and although her grandfather lived to see the wedding, her grandmother did not. To pay homage to such a beautiful marriage, the couple used their same cake topper from 1965 that had been preserved all these years! Although the pictures from their wedding will last a lifetime, the couple also wanted to find a special way to remember such an important day. The bride and groom hired an amazing local artist to paint their ceremony live, and during the reception the couple got to add a few brush strokes of their own onto the beautiful, almost finished canvas. Through every twist and turn, Haeley and Ryan remain steadfast in their commitment to each other, always choosing love and finding a way to make it work, through the highs and lows that life has to offer. There is a love story that proves dreams can come true, and that true love knows no bounds.”
