Love Story
Surgey and Lily met back in high school but did not actually find interest in each other until they were both in college after they slid into each other’s DMs. At that point, both of them were attending different universities. They figured out they still wanted to be together so they did a long-distance relationship for about four years. Once they both graduated, Surgey found a job out in Colorado Springs as an assistant gymnastics coach at the Airforce Academy and Lily moved out here with him! These two decided to celebrate their engagement by doing their session out in Rocky Mountain National Park. We spent the late afternoon getting some shots in a large meadow with that gorgeous mountain background. Along the ride, there were plenty of wildlife sightings of elk and deer. We ended our evening with a hike to Dream lake (which was an absolute dream). The hike isn’t quick by any means, but it is so worth the time and energy that it takes to get up there. We took photos until twilight. The happy couple looks forward to their wedding in May 2022!
