“My husband and I cannot say enough good things about the Chateau. After the pandemic ruined our original plans of a larger wedding, we decided we didn’t want it to ruin our year entirely as it was still important for us to get married in 2020, and we decided to elope to the splendor of the Canadian Rockies. And it was the best decision we could have made. Working with the team at the Fairmont (specifically Jeff in conference services) was so wonderful. He was able to help us plan our dream day. I felt no stress. Which is huge coming from a bride. Everything from the day we arrived at the Chateau to when we departed was pure magic. All of our guests and ourselves felt so comfortable and safe staying at the hotel. All protocols were always in place. Everything was sanitized and none of us worried about getting sick. It did not even feel like an active pandemic was happening. I would HIGHLY recommend the Fairmont Chateau for a small and intimate wedding day and my husband and I look forward to going back to celebrate our anniversaries!”
