What do you consider your style to be? I believe in a healthy balance of sophistication and playfulness. My approach to photographing your wedding is light, sharp and vibrant documentary style with a fine art touch. When it comes to portraits I step in with direction and prompting to create really romantic whimsical images but then also step back and get those small raw moments. The details of the day are a big part of every story so I always give them the extra attention they deserve. Getting playful when it comes to wedding parties can be so much fun and I pride myself in being super attentive when it comes to a couple's priorities and personalities. I do my best to follow the energy of the group while staying true to my style.
Where do you find your design inspiration? To me a Wedding photo collection is all about the story as a whole with all of the special moments throughout. It starts with the details (shoes, rings, vow books, etc) and wouldn't be complete without the tears in grandmas eyes, or that look on the groom's face as he see's his love as a bride for the first time. The story is not only the reading of the vows but also the reaction of your guests listening. Capturing those moments throughout the day in a beautiful and artful way is what builds a strong collection.
