“I have been envisioning a shoot like this for a while. Something out of the 1800’s old cowboy style with an old carriage. I wanted to add a little modern flare with the bright florals of purple, blue, & pinks. Blume Hill Studios brought my dream to life with hand-dyed flowers, she slayed the inspiration I sent her. The bolo the groom was wearing I found at a thrift store and it was what inspired the whole shoot. Foxtail Tech hand drew the carriages onto the invites as well to match. I had actually planned on a vintage pin-stripped penguin coat for the groom to wear but it didn’t show up in time. I feel that his all brown attire meshed well with the caramel colored florals and hay barn backdrop. The first dress I actually had found at a thrift store and it was almost in perfect condition. It’s a true vintage beauty. I had three girls try it on before I found the right fit. It is so crazy to think about how tiny people used to be back then. My entire goal with this shoot was to show how you can have a vintage flair within your wedding day all while being quiet and intimate with bright colors. I wanted to bring back that old cowboy vintage real love story, you know, before cell phones. Things were simpler back then. I feel like we nailed it.”
