I’m Kat, a hybrid (film & digital) wedding photographer with over 13 years of experience in the industry as a wedding and family photographer. I live a wonderfully imperfect life with the love of my life husband, our three beautiful kids, and a Goldendoodle pup named Jack (or Jacomo, if we’re feeling particularly French that day). My hobbies? I’m a wannabe homesteader. I spend my “me time” with my chickens, gardening, canning, home renovation projects, and making loads of sourdough bread. My weakness: gourmet saltwater taffy.

What do you consider your style to be?
A bridge between editorial and documentary. I love creating photos that make you feel your most beautiful, but not at the expense of your authenticity.

Where do you find your design inspiration?
God already gave us the most incredible earth, with every color, tone, and texture imaginable existing effortlessly in nature. Your wedding design should be a complementary extension of whatever stunning landscape or architecture you want. I'm particularly inspired by old-world romance and simpler times. Elegant flowers, aged brass, earthy stoneware, natural linens, quality wood furniture... As humanity, we just don't create things the way we used to.
What are your favorite activities to do in The Rockies?
Drive 2 hours in any direction and you'll find a different ecosystem in The Rockies! I love camping and taking my family paddle boarding at any of our local lakes.
