“Nick and I met in Augusta, Georgia, during a busy season of our lives. I was in my second year of dental school, and he was in his third year of medical school. While Nick might be slightly embarrassed about how we met, I think it’s unique and pretty adorable, so here’s the story: I was in search of a date for my dental school prom, and instead of going the traditional route, I decided to have a little fun with it. I created a ‘Date Application’ and posted it on my social media. It was a fun Google form with questions like age, height, top three favorite music artists, whether they liked to dance, and, just for fun, a request for their social security number (kidding… mostly). I got several responses, but one stood out: Nick’s. I didn’t know him at all, but his answers made me laugh out loud. I immediately texted my friends, ‘I think I just found my future husband.’ Nick was the only applicant who made it to the next round, a follow-up ‘interview’ at an Augusta GreenJackets baseball game. We ended up going to dental prom together, had an amazing time, and he’s been my date ever since!”
