Karen and Doug Filos are the driving force behind Peace of Paradise. United by a passion for blending creativity and nature, they set out to create a space where these elements merge to inspire those who dare to dream, create, and live fully.
Karen has always been drawn to a life grounded in creativity. She envisioned a sanctuary where people could escape the everyday hustle and reconnect with their creative spirit. Doug, who shares Karen’s love for the outdoors and hosting, brought his passion for creating welcoming, engaging environments that foster unforgettable memories.
At Peace of Paradise, our mission is to create inspiring spaces where every season of life is celebrated, connections grow deeper, and memories are made, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Paradise Valley, Montana.

For a smaller wedding of 26 people it had absolutely everything we could have wanted. We had enough space to spread out and enjoy the beauty of the land surrounding while also being able to share the more intimate moments such as our first dance on the deck of the casita. The decor inside the casita was perfect for some beautiful photo ops and really felt like we were somewhere special. The owners and managers of the property were quick with their responses, helpful in providing details, and it is evident they take pride in keeping this place well kept. We would 100% recommend this place to anyone who is interested in hosting any type of evets.”

Upon Entering the El Coyote House you will feel like you are stepping back into a preserved time capsule from the 70’s with a modern/western esthetic, that flaunts a front porch that you can watch the fiery sunsets and take in the views. Everything is perfection. From the Event Tee-Pee, to the Vintage updated airstreams, Karen and Doug have done an amazing job bringing their creative touch and vision to one of the most beautiful places in the West. “Peace of Paradise is exactly that, a little slice of heaven nestled in the valley of Southwest Montana. A magical place filled with inspiration, awe and beauty. Boasts 20 acres of wide open space while being surrounded by the prettiest peaks Montana has to offer. The El Coyote is my favorite part - a unique little bar area with the most eclectic, authentic western decor. Perfect space for a retreat, wedding/wedding rehearsal, birthday party, or gathering of any kind. The team that runs this unforgettable space is as amazing as the venue. 10/10 would recommend!!”
