These elopement locations are currently full for 2025 so be sure to apply early for your wedding and commitment ceremony permit through the National Park Service for 2026 early. Our Grand Teton elopement locations are for groups of up to 25 and 40, but if you are wanting a group of no more than 12 people, you can apply for a small dispersed ceremony permit through the National Park Service.

1. Jackson Lake Lodge 

Jackson Lake Lodge is the only full-service wedding venue in Grand Teton National Park. While they typically host traditionally large weddings, Jackson Lake Lodge is the perfect place to serve as home-base for your Wyoming elopement thanks to the on-site lodging, fine dining and unobstructed Teton views. You can plan a cozy wedding or elopement at Jackson Lake Lodge to create an intimate wedding weekend surrounded by those you love most.

2. Colter Bay Swim Beach

Group size limit of 40 people

Situated on the shores of Jackson Lake, Colter Bay Swim Beach has stunning views of Mount Moran. This is often one of the first elopement locations to fill up due to it’s easy access and unique lakefront views. Colter Bay Swim Beach is a Grand Teton elopement location that is perfect for an intimate wedding of up to 40 guests.

3. Schwabacher Landing

Group size limit of 25 people

Available from mid-May to mid-October due to weather restrictions, Schwabacher Landing is a breathtaking elopement site with beautiful views of the Tetons. Celebrate your nuptials with up to 25 of your closest friends at this Grand Teton National Park elopement location with views of the Teton Range, Snake River, beaver ponds, damns and lodges for an unforgettable elopement.

4. Mormon Row (North or South)

Group size limit of 40 people (North) or 25 people (South)

One of the most iconic historic sites in Grand Teton National Park, Mormon Row (North or South) are two elopement locations are relatively easy to get to from the closest parking lots. Mormon Row North can fit up to 40 guests while Mormon Row South can accommodate up to 25 people.

5. Mountain View Turnout

Group size limit of 25 people

Mountain View Turnout is accessible by vehicle from mid-May to mid-October for up to 25 guests before it becomes a Small Dispersed Wedding Ceremony Location from November 1st through April 30 for up to 12 guests and is only accessible by snowshoeing or skiing. Enjoy beautiful views of the Tetons surrounded by fields of lush wildflowers in the summer at this Grand Teton elopement location.

6. Glacier View Turnout

Group size limit of 25 people

Celebrate your elopement framed with unforgettable views of the Teton mountain range at Glacier View Turnout. This is another one of the most popular elopement locations thanks to the ability to host up to 25 guests and unreal mountain views in Grand Teton National Park.

7. Snake River Overlook

Group size limit of 25 people

Snake River Overlook is a unique view of the Tetons and Snake River. Host up to 25 of your closest friends and family during your elopement in Grand Teton National Park with breathtaking views of the dramatic beauty of this iconic mountain range.

8. Chapel of the Transfiguration

Built in 1925, the Chapel of the Transfiguration is a small log chapel set in the heart of Grand Teton National Park. This Chapel is available from Memorial Day through September for up to 65 seated guests indoors with availability for outdoor seating as well.

9. Chapel of the Sacred Heart

Chapel of the Sacred Heart is available for weddings June 1 through September 30 only. This Grand Teton elopement location can host up to 115 guests for a larger wedding ceremony if that’s something you are looking for. Weddings at Chapel of the Sacred Heart are hosted on Saturdays at 11am and 2pm only, so be sure to take those times into account during the wedding planning process.


10. Wedding Tree

Technically outside Grand Teton National Park, the Wedding Tree is a beloved location for elopements in  The Bridger-Teton National Forest. This lone tree elopement location requires a short hike and can accommodate up to 75 guests as one of the larger elopement locations on the list.
