“I always thought people were being dramatic when they said their wedding was the best day ever, but it really was. Having all of our family and friends gathered in one place was such an amazing experience and we would relive that weekend again and again if we could. I am so thankful for everyone who took the time and energy to travel to Tahoe to celebrate with us. It is hard to narrow down our favorite moments because the whole day was perfect — amazing mix of our favorite people, perfect weather, great food & drinks, such a good energy & most importantly getting to marry each other. I think one of the best parts was that we got to bring everyone into the place that is very personal to us — my family has a house in the Glenbrook neighborhood, and Colby and I have been coming to Tahoe and spending time in the neighborhood since very early on in our relationship. It is truly one of our favorite places, so having all of our favorite people gathered there at one time was surreal and so special. I love the fact that this place that was already special to us is now that much more special, and the fact that it will be a place we continue to come the rest of our lives. We kept reminding ourselves that this was the only time that this exact group of people would ever all be in one place together. Colby and I’s first look is a moment I will definitely always remember — I felt so loved and seen when he turned around and was already crying. It was nice to get that moment with just the two of us before the festivities kicked off.”
