Classic Meets Modern Vancouver Wedding

November 21, 2024 BY: Amy

“I met Natasha at my soccer team’s Christmas party. I was standing outside with my friends, we were all wearing ugly Christmas sweaters, and in comes Natasha. In the typical Natasha fashion, she is wearing black jeans, black shirt, black leather boots and black leather jacket. I mean nothing says Christmas spirit like all black. I’m totally joking, I was completely floored by her beauty. We said a quick hello and she gave me a smile that I still remember to this day. And after the most beautiful woman I have ever seen walked into the party, I told my friends I’m going to go after her the old fashion way. Then I proceeded to not talk to her for the entirety of the night. I call that playing it cool. We would make eye contact throughout the night, and finally when she was about to leave I took my shot. Even though our interaction was brief, I felt a connection I hadn’t felt before. She left the party and I didn’t think I would see her again. And then, 20 minutes later, I get a text message saying, ‘I’m coming back.’ This time, I couldn’t wait to talk to her. I couldn’t wait to ask her to dance. I knew I met someone special, someone different, and I was right. I’m not one of these people that believes in love at first sight, but I am someone that believes in a soulmate. I believe we were destined to meet each other. I believe she was the missing piece in my life, and now I finally feel whole—a beautiful, fiery Italian woman I had always wanted. Till death do us part!”
