They even started dating because Cross wanted to bring Elyse on his family vacation to Aspen and Elyse said, ‘wouldn’t that be weird since I’m not your girlfriend?’ She ended up being his girlfriend that night. Two years and several family trips to Aspen later, Cross proposed at Elyse’s favorite hotel in their home city Houston, Texas. After the perfect proposal, they decided to have the engagement session of their dreams in Aspen at some of their favorite spots, including Kemo Sabe and Hotel Jerome.
