Quaid and I met online. We talked for about six months and then I finally decided he could take me on a date! He lived in Price, Utah and I was living in Spanish Fork. I moved down to Price to go to college at Utah State University-Eastern so it was perfect. A lot of our dates consisted of being on his family’s farm together. We started dating. Quaid got promoted to be a service rep at his job, which meant he had to move to New Mexico for 2 years. This was a huge heartbreak for us. I was just starting another year of school. We both decided we would make it work out as best as we could. I would drive to New Mexico every chance I could and he was coming back to Utah every chance he had. This was a blessing in disguise. He was able to further his career and I was able to continue my education. It all worked out. It truly made our relationship stronger.
