Wild Rose Weddings

Specializing in Earth-friendly events

My name is Ashley Rose and I’ve always been a planner. As a little girl, I would organize all of my friends to have a tea party, or build a fort, or put on a fashion show. I have been planning and organizing as a profession for the last 12 years, first with vacations, and now with events. I am an avid list maker…. I’ll even add something to my list that I’ve already done, just so I can cross it off. I excel when I have a lot going on, and I am calm during chaos. I thrive on getting people together and connecting different parts of my world. I have meticulous attention to detail, and I love the creativity and artistry of designing an event that is uniquely and perfectly YOU.

Fun facts

Where do you find your design inspiration?

All around me! Call me biased, but I think the Tetons are some of the most stunning mountains in the world. That iconic silhouette gets into your soul and really makes a mark on anyone who gazes at them. It's probably why so many couples want to get married at their feet! Add in some quivering Aspen trees, deep blue lakes and bright cheerful wildflowers and you have a backdrop out of a fairytale. My inspiration is rooted outside and is ever changing, like the seasons.

What are your favorite activities to do in The Rockies?

I find my joy in outdoor activities. On work days, I make time for a trail run, mountain bike ride or a backcountry ski. On days off, you'll find my little family hiking, skiing, fly fishing, or even just picnicking by a lake.

What is your favorite part about a wedding?

It's so hard to pick a favorite part, but since becoming a mother, I have to admit I love watching the father daughter and mother son dances. It pulls on my heartstrings and I cry every time! There is something so beautiful about watching a proud parent dance with their grown child. Those parents are taking all of their cherished memories from childhood, adolescence and into adulthood, and (figuratively, of course!) handing one of the most precious things in their life over to someone else to love and protect. I believe weddings aren't just about the bride and groom, but also about joining families and expanding the web of love and friendship. It's that web that supports a couple through their marriage, and it is ever so important.
