Whirly Girl Flowers

A Wyoming Wedding & Event Florist for the Whirly & Wild

Here at Whirly Girl, we compose florals differently. My design style is less about trends or a theme and more about kneading nature at work into authentic human connection. The truth is my art form is meant to evoke emotion and draw people closer without stealing the stage from your surroundings. I am known to incorporate: rich texture, unexpected color, untamed findings, and personal touches from your story (like a native bloom from your home state or a pheasant feather from your mountain ceremony location). My custom and artful approach to creating ensure that no design is the same. Because we believe that’s how it should be; professional, personal, and wildly you.

Love Notes
Myca with Whirly Girl Flowers was wonderful to work with for my September wedding. During our first meeting, she summed up our style as "Prairie Prehistoric" and ran with it! She did an amazing job incorporating touches from Jurassic Park, but also wildflowers and hints of blue to represent both my husband and I. She also included a yellow rose at my request in memory of my late grandmother. Myca's color palette guided the design for the rest of my wedding -- including the variety of dresses for my bridesmaids and the colors of the macaroons for dessert. Pro tip: Go the extra mile and pay for delivery and set up -- Myca did a FABULOUS job with this -- from setting up the arch to the tables in the tent, even decorating the dessert table and giving corsages, etc. to our parents, making everything that much more special (and stress free!).

Whirly Girl Flowers truly succeeded my expectations and made my actual flower dreams come true. Myca was so kind, honest and warm from the minute I met her while visiting Sheridan. I am a huge flower lover and ALWAYS have fresh florals all over my house, and love creating tasteful arrangements. With that being said I was very picky throughout the process and am so grateful to have found Whirly Girl. Myca went above and beyond for me to help create the rustic ranch wedding I have always dreamed of. I knew I wanted sunflowers with pops of natural greens and whites for our ceremony - but wanted it to feel light, chic, and tasteful...and Myca did EXACTLY this. The florals were absolutely stunning and she nailed my exact vision. The fresh peonies on the long ranch tables mixed with chamomile and ranunculus were absolutely stunning. Myca, thank you from the very bottom of my heart. I wouldn't have changed a thing and am so grateful for you and your creativity. All my love, Demi

Whirly Girl is THE flower guru. I feel so blessed to have had the chance to work with Myca. She is so kind and SO unbelievably talented. The pictures attached truly tell it all. I’ve never felt so emotionally attached to a bouquet of flowers in my life! I knew from my first meeting with Myca that I could completely trust her to make my wedding floral dreams come to life! She is worth her weight in gold.

I've been lucky enough to get to photograph Myca's beautiful work a few times! She is always such a joy to work with and goes above and beyond for her couples! She's able to really hone in on the client's vision to create something unique to them and her use of color and texture really stands out in photographs. The Sheridan area is lucky to have her!

Fun facts

What do you consider your style to be?

Our designs are inspired by nature’s seasonal abundance, untamed textures, and romantic color pairings. Yet, above all, they are thoughtfully composed to capture the genuine emotions that turn your shared moments into everlasting memories with the ones you love most.

How did you get started in the wedding industry?

From a young age you could find me collecting stems and flowers to make and gift bouquets. When my sister asked me to do her flowers in 2007, I said yes and never looked back.

Where do you find your design inspiration?

I'm inspired by the seasons and the colors you find together in the environment around us. Golden willow waking up in the springtime, riots of green and wildflowers come June, dusty hues of sage and prairie grasses in the Fall.

What is your favorite part about a wedding?

That final excited moment as the bride gets ready to walk down the aisle followed by the big joy and Let's GO energy from everyone there.
