Located upon 196-acres of remote desert terrain, Under Canvas Zion lies just 20 miles from the entrance to Zion National Park and the charming town of Springdale. Operating under wide-open desert skies in Virgin, Utah, Under Canvas’ safari-inspired glamping destination is a haven of solitude in the American Southwest, surrounded by views of soaring sandstone cliffs and majestic red rock.
“We had the best weekend at Under Canvas Zion – the tent was big and spacious and had a bathroom/shower inside of it. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly and everything went smoothly. The food at the restaurant was great and they have a band on the weekend usually to play throughout dinner. The setting is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world and I couldn’t recommend it enough!”
“It was a fun experience. The tents were in good condition and well maintained. The staff was friendly and professional. The location was nice, a little close to the main road so not that far off the beaten path. If your looking for a nice luxury tent experience this was definitely 5 stars! We would definitely go back!”
“This place ROCKS!! We had a large group stay for about 4 days recently and from the moment we checked in, the staff at Under Canvas made us feel right at home. The canvas tents exceeded our expectations for comfort, the bath houses were luxurious and well cleaned, and the food served at Embers (their on-site restaurant) was fairly-priced and delicious. The paths around camp are well-lit with tiny solar lights, making navigation very easy at night time. Staff was SO helpful and knowledgeable about Zion trails. They even offer complimentary morning coffee & tea, with s’mores served around the campfire at night. I would also like to mention that they are VERY environmentally conscious, which I found to be very admirable, given the size of the camp. It goes without saying that we will absolutely be back, and I can’t recommend this place enough for your next stay at Zion National Park.”
