We guard your wedding day with our lives so that it’s nothing but sunshine and rainbows (well, sometimes it does rain, but we’ve got great umbrellas for that). I wish I could give Amber and her team at Durango Event Planners a 10-star rating! I am an out-of-state bride that hired Amber for day-of coordination. Over our 6 month agreement, I felt I received all the communication and help I could've asked for--and then some! Amber helped keep up with vendors and protect my peace during the wedding planning process. Amber and her team's attention to detail, composure, and kind heartedness separates her from the rest. Amber at Durango Event Planners is hands down the best thing that happened to our wedding. I called her with lots of frustration about our venue and communication with them. She was so kind and understanding. After we hired her we immediately help a weight was lifted off our shoulders. Her and husband made everything run so smoothly the day of our wedding, I didn't have to think of a thing. She wrangled our at times wild wedding party and got them where they needed to be. She is great at communicating and answered any questions we had. If I could give anyone wedding advice, its get yourself a day of planner, and even better hire Amber and her team. Amber and her team were amazing! We live in California and needed someone in Durango to plan our wedding there. The first time we saw the venue/ flowers/ décor/ food/ bar/ pretty much everything was the day before (or day of) the wedding and it was all great. We put a lot of trust into Durango Event Planners and they delivered! Our day was perfect, which far exceeded our expectations. If anything did go wrong, Amber and her team handled it and we didn't even notice.
Yes, weddings are expensive, but having Durango Event Planners plan and coordinate everything was absolutely worth the cost. I don't even want to think about what the day would have been like without her. Because of Durango Event Planners we were able to enjoy our day without worrying about the many details.
Amber and her team were excellent. They were kind, positive, supportive, fast to respond, and hard working. Amber helped create the wedding of our dreams. Where are you originally from? Our team of coordinators happens to all be local to Southwest Colorado! Our coordinators grew up in Durango, Pagosa and Dolores. We must really love it around here!

Do you travel for clients? If so, where? We do! In addition to Durango, our team currently coordinates weddings all throughout the Four Corners area including a few of our favorites: Telluride, Silverton, Vallacito, and Moab.
What are your favorite activities to do in The Rockies? Where to start with this one? To be on this team, you have to love adventuring in The Rockies! Collectively, we love to downhill ski at Purgatory Resort, cross country ski, river raft, bike, backpack, paddle-board and hike (often with a little human or two in tow)!
