Anna is a seasoned wedding industry professional with 10+ years of experience as a Wedding Coordinator & Director for a premiere AZ venue, Bridal Stylist for an off-the-rack boutique, & current Bridal Alterations Specialist.
Anna’s passions for sewing & mind-body wellness started at a young age. She holds a degree in Marketing & Global Business from the University of Arizona, as well as a Holistic Wellness degree from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts with certifications in Guided Meditation & Life Coaching. Her main focuses are energy work, yoga & somatic exercises, & guided breath work.
Anna’s mission is to support EVERY Bride, the WHOLE Bride, on a Heart-Centered level to ensure they feel their best inside & out on the journey leading up to the wedding day & the forever that follows!
She believes that with a calm & regulated nervous system, everyone, especially Brides, can make clear & confident decisions, be relaxed, present & show up as their best self, & truly enjoy every beautiful & monumental moment in life.

What are your favorite kinds of couples to work with?
My favorite BRIDES to work with are those that are excited about & open to the creativity & flow of the alterations process. Alterations are evolutionary over time. Multiple fittings are needed to make sure each part of the dress is perfect & fitting as it should, while maintaining the integrity of the design. I consider alterations a "partnership" with each & every Bride. Honest communication is a must on both ends! I want you to be involved, invested, & ask questions! Together, we will create the dress of your dreams!
How did you get started in the wedding industry?
First of all, I have to mention my experience living in London & working for luxury shoe designer, Lucy Choi. I was abroad to study & intern through the business college I was attending, but I came home forever changed! I witnessed first hand just how powerful a women-owned & operated business can be. I coordinated photoshoots & sent shoes to Vogue. I organized the designer's sketches of her new collection. I ran the social media. I helped women pick out their new favorite shoes to add to their collections! As the niece of Jimmy Choo, Lucy Choi could have stepped into the role of Creative Director of this empire when her uncle stepped down, but she chose to forge her own path & make her dreams a reality. Her mission was to inspire & empower women with a comfortable, fabulous, luxury pair of shoes built with the highest couture craftsmanship, & she was the most humble human while doing so. Little did I know where life would take me, but I'm so grateful to have witnessed her passion & her heart at such a level. She played a profound role in my life, taught me any dream of mine is achievable with grit & determination, & gave me the best example to follow as a now business owner myself also offering a luxury, bespoke, craft service for Brides! After graduating from the University of Arizona, I began working for a premiere wedding venue in Mesa, AZ. I was part of the planning & coordination team, & directed weddings day-of. I learned so much about weddings that I still carry with me & use to this day! I then transitioned to an off-the-rack boutique as a Bridal Stylist. I loved learning about the Brides, their personality, their energy, & finding the perfect match in a wedding dress. I would often do minor alterations or mending if needed when dresses arrived to the boutique. My passion for sewing was ignited at a young age when my late Gram taught me all she knew & I built on my skills from there being mostly self-taught. I was approached on Instagram by a Bridal Seamstress in my area who had seen my work I'd post of sewing projects I'd do creatively on my own. This job is where I solidified the sewing & alterations techniques required for wedding & couture dresses. However, this job was met with a LOT of stress. Stress in the job, stress shared from Brides, I felt like a therapist without being trained. So, I decided to change that! I wanted to help Brides relax & de-stress so they could truly enjoy the experience of being a Bride. I've always had a passion for wellness, so I transitioned a bit to learn all I could. After enrolling in a holistic healthcare program from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, I decided to make the jump & build my own business combining Bridal Alterations & Wellness Services. "The Heart-Centered Seamstress" was born in 2020, & is proudly still thriving today! Everything I do & will continue to do comes from my Heart.
What is your favorite part about a wedding?
Oh, it's so tricky to pick one favorite part of a wedding day. I'm grateful to get to be at many weddings for my Brides since offering my "Wedding Day Seamstress" service! I take care of all of the needs of the dress: steaming, dressing, bustling, etc. so the Bride & her party need not stress & can relax & enjoy the day. From a Bridal Seamstress POV, I love when it's time to dress the Bride. Her energy shifts, we clear the room to have a private moment, just her & the dress, with myself & those she'd like present. THIS is the moment we've both been waiting for after working on her dress for months. For the Bride, it's often times excitement met with overwhelming emotions. Yet, just like we've practiced many times before together, she steps into the dress with confidence & calm in her heart knowing her dress will fit perfectly, comfortably, & feel just like her! There's nothing she needs to worry or stress about. Nothing she needs to do. She's a Beautiful, Heart-Centered Bride, ready to wed!
