Stone Bridge Island Farm

Your Perfect Day, Our Island Farm

Nestled on breathtaking Salt Spring Island, Stone Bridge Island Farm is an extraordinary 80-acre estate perfect for unforgettable rustic West Coast weddings. Spellbinding sunsets, sweeping ocean views, and the island’s natural beauty create the perfect canvas for your dream wedding

Arbutus and oak trees stand tall against blue skies, framing ponds, open fields, and dramatic sandstone cliffs — an endless backdrop for photographs you will treasure forever.

Our clear-span 8,000-square-foot barn is the heart of the property. Ideal for receptions and banquets, it features a concrete floor and large sliding doors on all four sides. When fully open, the barn seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor spaces, offering guests panoramic views of mountains, fields, ponds, and our famous sunsets. Surrounding the barn, expansive lawns invite mingling, games, and true enjoyment of the outdoors.

The comment we get most often from couples that come to tour our venue is, “Your barn is gorgeous and a blank canvas that we can decorate as little or as much as we’d like.” So, you can make it “glam” or keep it very “casual” and everything in between as well. We’ve had a Mexican themed wedding with a band leading the procession to the wedding ceremony and we’ve had an Italian themed wedding with an accordionist playing while the guests enjoyed their Italian dinner. We’ve had Boho inspired weddings and glamorous events as well. Whatever you envision – can be created!

Love Notes
Romy and Bryce made us feel like family from the moment we first toured Stonebridge. We immediately fell in love with the property and could so clearly imagine our wedding there. We’re so grateful we trusted that feeling. Throughout the whole weekend, they went above and beyond. Romy made the most beautiful breakfast for myself and my bridesmaids, checked in with me constantly, even helped with small things like touching up my lipstick and making sure I felt calm and cared for. Bryce worked tirelessly behind the scenes setting up and helping bring our vision to life. Their warmth and attention to detail were truly felt in every moment. Staying at the BnB for the weekend was such a peaceful sanctuary, it gave us space to breathe, soak it in, and be fully present. Our guests have not stopped talking about how magical the day felt. They described it as an elevated farmers market dream. People gathered to watch the sunset, wandered the fields, and danced all night in the barn. It felt effortless, joyful, authentic, and beautifully us. We couldn’t have imagined a more dreamy place to get married. We would recommend Stone Bridge Island Farm in a heartbeat.

Where do I begin? We traveled from the San Juan Islands in Washington State for my boyfriend’s daughter’s wedding at Stone Bridge Farm. At first, I wondered why they had chosen a venue so far away. Then I saw the property. Magical. Truly magical. Stone Bridge Farm is absolutely breathtaking and unlike any wedding venue I’ve ever seen. Every detail of the property is beautiful. Romy and Bryce, the owners, were the icing on the cake. They are two of the kindest, most welcoming people you could ever hope to meet. We were fortunate enough to stay in the house on the property, and Romy prepared us a delicious breakfast both mornings we were there. This was an unforgettable experience, and I couldn’t imagine a more perfect place for a wedding. I highly recommend Stone Bridge Farm.

I got married at Stone Bridge - and for any future bride who is wondering, yes - the owners are a dream come true. They were so helpful, kind, and relaxed throughout our wedding day - there to support in every way we needed, while also giving us space to do our thing. You can tell they have perfected this as their business over the many weddings, and offered things I couldn't have thought I needed, but will treasure forever (like a candid video of my and my dad waiting before we walked down the aisle). It was the best day ever, and they played a huge part in that with their calm, steady kindness throughout the entire weekend, and all the little surprises they had to offer in the B&B. They communicated well, answered my hundreds of questions during the wedding planning process - and I can't say enough good things about this venue and the owners of it. Would highly, highly recommend this venue to anyone.

Where do we even begin?! Stone Bridge Island Farm truly is a magical place, and that magic is brought to life by the most incredible hosts, Romy and Bryce. From our very first visit to the property, to the second tour, through the booking process and all the way to our wedding weekend arrival, we were constantly met with their warmth, kindness, and genuine care. Simply put, they were nothing short of amazing. Planning a wedding is no small feat, but having Romy and Bryce by our side made the entire weekend not only smooth and stress-free, but filled with love. Their thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and willingness to go above and beyond meant the world to us. We felt supported, welcomed, and completely at home. We truly couldn’t have had a more perfect weekend and wedding day, and so much of that is thanks to them. Their love for the land, for hosting, and for people, shines through in everything they do. It’s rare to meet people who leave such a lasting imprint on your heart, but we’re so grateful to have found that in Romy and Bryce. We appreciate them more than they will ever know. If you’re looking for a venue that feels like a dream, where you’re not just another event, but treated like family, Stone Bridge Island Farm is that place.

Fun facts

How did the venue become a wedding venue?

It certainly wasn't planned... Our son’s friend had spent summers visiting the property over the years, and when he got engaged he asked if they could get married on our farm. Of course, we said yes. Sure enough, other friends started asking, children of friends, and we even had complete strangers knock on our door to ask if we would be able to do a wedding! Before long we realized something special was taking shape… a simple seasonal business that allowed us to share our beautiful farm with others. It’s a pleasure to be involved in such a special day in people’s lives. After all, a wedding is a celebration, so opening our property up to a few couples each summer so that they can celebrate such a magical day in their lives is something that we really treasure.

What is your favorite part about a wedding?

We have several B&B rooms exclusively for our wedding guests located right on our farm; which may be booked separately. It's been very popular for the bride and bridesmaids to stay and have a last night together and then Saturday morning they can get their make-up and hair styled here. It creates a bit of a private sanctuary for the bridal party while they get ready for the big day. I make crepes with fresh fruit and whipping cream for them. It's just a fun time for them to share before the wedding! :)
