Stan Todorov Photography | Montana Wedding Photographer
Moody, cinematic photography for couples who'd rather say their vows in the mountains.
I’m Stan, a Bulgarian-born photographer based in Kalispell, Montana, just outside Glacier National Park. I picked up my first camera in 2015, fell in love with portrait photography, and then fell in love with my husband Obi through that same hobby. We met in Billings, married two months later, and settled in his hometown in the Flathead Valley, where I now photograph elopements, intimate weddings and everything in between.
My style is moody, cinematic, and earthy: warm skin tones, rich greens, and galleries that feel the way the mountains do. Beyond the photos, I walk my couples through everything, from locations and permits to timelines and vendors, backed by my Glacier and Flathead Valley planning guides.
I was recently named runner-up for Best Photographer in the Best of the Flathead, and every love story is welcome here, always.
Love Notes
Stan was responsive, informative, and incredibly patient as we walked through my long list of questions about the logistics of eloping in Glacier National Park. My husband and I are not the most photogenic folks, but Stan helped us relax in front of the camera and gave us the best elopement photos we could've asked for. His knowledge of Glacier and the permitting process, his flexibility with inclement weather, and his hilarious sense of humor are worth far more than what we invested.

After reaching out to see his availability, Stan immediately called to get to know us and discuss every intricate detail. As the shoot grew closer, he stayed in touch, gave updates on weather, and sent pins to the exact meetup location. He helped us un-photogenic folk pose properly and look like naturals in the most beautiful setting, and we received many more photos than we were expecting. We truly felt we made a new friend, and we'll recommend Stan to anyone. All that said, Stan is your man!
— Kaylie B.
We felt so comfortable, it was as if we were connecting with a friend who just happened to have a camera. Every single picture we received is beautiful and clearly captures the love between us. I find a new favorite every time I open the album, and I highly, highly recommend booking him as your wedding or elopement photographer.

Fun facts
Where are you originally from?
Bulgaria! I moved to the US in 2016 and still fly home every year to see family. Montana stole my heart shortly after (so did my husband, a Kalispell native), and the Flathead Valley has been home ever since.
What do you consider your style to be?
Moody, cinematic, and earthy. I edit with warm skin tones and rich, olive-toned greens so your gallery feels the way Glacier feels: a little wild, a little quiet, deeply romantic. I care far more about honest in-between moments than stiff poses.
How did you get started in the wedding industry?
Photography introduced me to my husband. We bonded over portraits, married two months after meeting, and I never stopped photographing love after that. What began as a university hobby officially became Stan Todorov Photography
Where do you find your design inspiration?
Mostly from the landscape itself. Glacier's light, weather, and moods shape how I shoot and edit far more than trends do. Beyond that, I pull from cinema, old film photography, and the earthy colors of the Bulgarian countryside my family comes from.
