hi i’m julia
but, you can call me Jules!

i spend my days in fort collins with my fiancé grayson and our lil australian shepherd mack! i am based out of northern colorado, but you’ll find me making my way up and down i25 often for a wedding! i love serving couples all over the gorgeous rocky mountains!

if i’m not behind the camera you’d find me heading up to keystone to ski with my girlfriends, at a brewery trying the newest coffee stout, or at a concert with grayson, we can’t say no to live music!

it means the world to me to share with my couples on their most important days. who is as lucky as me to capture true love, excitement, and the best day of people’s lives as a job? i am so thankful you found me and i would be so very honored to have you in front of my camera!

What do you consider your style to be?

i get a lot of different answers for this when i ask others, it's hard to pin down! i shoot in a journalistic way, captured real moments between everyone who is a part of the day, but also know and love putting together a plan to get all those special events as well, like first looks and group photos! having a mix of the raw moments as well as the hustle to get your family and friends pumped up for formal photos is my expertise! you'll have a balance between keeping the day moving and making sure theres time for you to feel every bit of your day is what i strive for! as for my editing style, i like to keep it light! i love creamy soft color, a romantic look with a timeless feel! i recommend working with me if the moments captured in my work connect with you!

What are your favorite kinds of couples to work with?

couples who want both. the candid captured moments that you couldn't pose if you wanted to AND the epic, cover of RMB shots of their day too! i have had the best days with couples who want to spend the time getting amazing photos and let me share all my knowledge about timelines, planning, tips+tricks to really get a full and beautiful wedding gallery, but also love to make the choices that are about them and their day so it's perfect for THEM. full of real moments i can capture as the journalistic photographer i am!

Do you travel for clients? If so, where?

absolutely! i love working with couples all over the country! i only take a few out of colorado weddings a year as they can take up a lot of time, and i want to serve all my couples well! but always always happy to travel somewhere new for a big day!! and, often create custom photo collections with lots of extras if it's a location i have been dying to shoot at!

What are your favorite activities to do in The Rockies?

i was born and raised in colorado and spent my winter weekends snowboarding and skiing with my parents, now with my fiance! living in fort collins allows me to enjoy the rockies within minutes, so hiking and enjoying the views in the mountains is my favorite!
