Shaa.Project is a creative studio where Asian elegance meets Eastern European craft. Our approach is guided by Ikebana principles—thoughtful placement, balance, and intention—shaped through over a decade of international experience.
We’re Skyler and Dasha—floral designers, friends, and co-founders of Shaa.Project. Our backgrounds span floral design, art direction, and production, informing a practice that is both intuitive and structured. We design floral environments for weddings and events—from sculptural ceremony pieces and immersive installations to layered table compositions and expressive personal florals—each created to feel cohesive, intentional, and quietly distinctive.
Fun facts
What do you consider your style to be?
A balance of Asian elegance and Eastern European craft, expressed through refined, sculptural compositions.
How did you get started in the wedding industry?
Before founding Shaa.Project, we built our practices independently, each developing a distinct approach. Over time, our paths aligned, and the studio formed as a natural extension of our shared perspective.
Where do you find your design inspiration?
Our work is rooted in Ikebana’s sense of restraint and intention, layered with a range of global design influences. We closely observe nature — learning from the way forms grow, how textures interact, and how colors evolve together. Film and the arts also play a significant role, shaping our overall aesthetic and sensitivity to composition.
What is your favorite part about a wedding?
We love getting to know each couple’s story and crafting something personal. It's exciting to think about the unique shapes, style, and color palette we’ll bring to life. One of our favorite parts is choosing the varieties that will transform into immersive centerpieces and installations. Meeting new people, understanding them, and designing something beautiful from their story—that’s the joy.
