Seventh & Anderson

Classically elegant wedding stationery for the modern couple

For 20+ years I worked as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist with severely abused and neglected children. In 2015, this was derailed by my love for all things paper, beautiful typography, and classic design (and some serious burnout ). Even after all these years, I still fawn over the feel of textured paper, letterpress printing, and wax seals.

With a love for all things classic, elegant, and unique, I am passionate about creating wedding stationery that reflects your style and love story perfectly. From fonts and paper options, to finishing touches like wax seals and ribbon, I will work tirelessly to ensure your invitations will inspire conversation, excite your guests and become an heirloom to keep for generations to come.

When I’m not in my studio creating, you can find me spending time with my family and friends, running, expanding my library, or binge-watching House, M.D. reruns.

“Seventh and Anderson helped make my vision a reality. For my wedding reception, I wanted to provide guests with a special favor of wildflower seeds with the message ‘watch our love grow.’ Not only did Janeil listen to my idea, but she took it and created something more beautiful and elegant than I had ever imagined. With Seventh and Anderson, you get the whole package. Janeil is with you each step of the way to make sure your vision becomes reality, with all the care and attention to detail that your special day deserves. I would recommend Seventh and Anderson to anyone who wants their special day to have all the perfect details.”

Fun facts

Where are you originally from?

I am a native Montanan, born, raised and have lived here the majority of my life. I also lived in Alaska for a couple of years, which was an incredible experience.

What do you consider your style to be?

My style leans towards the classic and refined, with just a touch of fun. I love adding little details that you wouldn't expect to see. While I respect trends, I don't rely on them. My clients are celebrating a big moment in life and want a classic sophistication that allows them to look current without being too trendy.

What is your favorite part about a wedding

The wedding invitation, of course! It's so much more than "just a piece of paper." Beyond setting the tone, your wedding invitation welcomes your guests to share in your joy and serves as an artifact of your union. It announces the journey that brought you to this milestone, the day your lives become one. At Seventh and Anderson, my goal is to ensure this correspondence, sent from your heart, is designed to distinctly echo your sentiments and style. Whether you choose a design from my semi-custom collection, or a full custom suite, each piece is artfully crafted and classically designed. Sourced from my most trusted vendors, your wedding invitations will inspire conversation, excite your guests and become an heirloom to keep for generations to come. You already know what being in love feels like, but this is what falling in love looks like. Let’s make it beautiful.

What are your favorite activities to do in The Rockies?

I am a runner and have been doing so for over 20 years. I've run, and trained for, everything from a 5k (3.1 miles) to a marathon (26.2 miles). To some these are just numbers. To me, they are hours of dedication, sweat, pain, renewal, sacrifice, perseverance, and determination. It's time spent outside, alone, with just my thoughts and the open road in front of me. It's me becoming a better person with each step.
