“ think it’s hard finding a photographer you legitimately makes you comfortable enough to deep belly ugly laugh on camera and love the final result anyways. Sarah is so genuine and good. She’s fast if you need her to be, slow if you need her to be, always funny, and hypes you up during the entire photo shoot. She is incredibly professional but personal on levels I think can be challenging for other photographers. And her photos? Stunning?! She captures so many different styles but they’re all amazing. What do you consider your style to be?
I would describe my wedding photography style as candid and lifestyle-driven, with a moody, vintage twist while staying true to color. My goal is to document real emotions, authentic moments that feel timeless yet true to you. I want my couples to feel as present as possible on their wedding day.
How did you get started in the wedding industry?
I didn’t exactly plan to be a wedding photographer—it just kind of found me. What started as a love for capturing candid moments turned into a full-blown passion for storytelling. One wedding led to another, and before I knew it, I was hooked—obsessed with the energy, the emotions, and the once-in-a-lifetime moments that unfold in the most beautifully unplanned ways. Now, I get to document love stories for a living, and honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Where do you find your design inspiration?
I find my design inspiration in the classics—old movies, vintage magazines, and music videos that ooze style and emotion. I’m drawn to the timeless aesthetic of 60s and 70s cinema, where every frame feels like a work of art. The bold fashion, the moody lighting, the storytelling—it's all about blending nostalgia with modern vibes. It’s like pulling from the past to create something uniquely fresh and effortlessly cool. My vision is all about capturing those moments with a twist of vintage flair and a modern edge.
What is your favorite part about a wedding?
My favorite part of a wedding is capturing the heartfelt moments that happen when no one’s looking—like the unspoken connection between the couple, the spontaneous laughter, and those little gestures that make the day feel so personal. I especially love a good private vow moment, where the couple gets to pour their hearts out to each other, just enjoying one last quiet moment before the full party takes over. After all, everyone’s there because this incredible love story unfolded, and I love capturing those intimate moments that remind them of that.
