Loves Notes
“This is our second time working with Marlene as we were originally supposed to get married in June 2020 and our invitations had already gone out the first time. We had to postpone due to the pandemic and decided that we wanted to do a second round of invitations for the new wedding date. She has been absolutely exceptional to work with! She is very timely in getting everything done and extremely organized in keeping everything together. She helped me personally customize the wedding invitations the second time around so they would be slightly different from the first round but just as individual and unique. She has extraordinary creativity and is a shining light in the Colorado wedding industry.”

Fun facts
Where are you originally from?
I'm originally from California.
What do you consider your style to be?
I love any style that make me say OMG! But, if I had to express my personal style I would say its High Modern Glam. I really love high contrast colors and design. I'm especially about the details. The design and details should be cohesive, all the way from idea to to the finishings.
What are your favorite kinds of couples to work with?
I've had the good fortune to work with couples who are not afraid to go for it! My couples are super adventurous. They love the process and are not afraid of concepts. It's always so fun to work with couples who trust in me and what I can provide for them.
How did you get started in the wedding industry?
I'm a Graphic Designer by trade. I love concepts, design, color, paper, and fonts. I love seeing what you can achieve with these elements. The idea that you can communicate through color, words, fonts, ribbons, envelopes and paper to tell a story is so amazing to me.
Where do you find your design inspiration?
I can find inspiration in things as simple as scenery like the mountains, the beach or an exotic locations or I can find them by staying on trend with things like paper, color, textures, and patterns. They help to inspire ideas. I'm a little obsessed with font styles. But the most important inspiration is always the clients vision.
What is your favorite part about a wedding?
When the Bride and Groom first see each other, and the first dance because that's when you get to see the bride and groom just fall into each other. What's better than that moment when it's all said and done and now you know it's just the two of you. Beautiful.
