Renee Isabel Photo

love storyteller dedicated to keeping your memories safe in timeless, intentionally created, and authentic images

I’m Renee — a wedding and elopement photographer who is passionate about turning precious moments into pieces of art you can hold onto forever. I get asked a lot about what kind of photography I do, I never know how to answer that. I do the kind of photography that puts my couples in the center of everything I create for their day. My work is inspired by you, your story, and your hearts. When I am not behind a camera, you can find me with my cats, or on my quest to find the best margarita this side of the Mississippi!

I am offering $200 off any wedding package if you let me know you came from RMB!

Love Notes

“I cannot express enough gratitude for our photoshoot with Renee. We had our engagement photos with her and I’m STILL swooning over them as we approach our one-year anniversary of marriage!!! I have worked with several photographers and I can honestly say I would drop everything to go with her again. My husband, who is more camera shy, was very nervous, but Renee did an AMAZING job warming us up so he felt so comfortable – actually, I think he stole the show!”
Katrina + Dave

“I loved that Renee was constantly engaged, speaking, and affirming that what we were doing was “right” because that built our confidence! Our fave images from the session were ones that told our personal story in a playful way!”
Jess + Chris

“Renee did my backyard wedding and the pictures were perfection! She was so easy to work with and went with the flow. My husband and I are super awkward in front of cameras, but she did a great job getting us to relax and gave us amazing pictures.”

Fun facts

Where are you originally from?

Texas! I grew up in a town called Sugar Land, about 45 minutes outside of Houston!

What do you consider your style to be?

I consider my style to be colorful, ethereal, warm, and cinematic. I basically want every photo to embody some sort of fairytale quality that represents how love stories feel, without sacrificing the ageless quality of clean images. I want your photos to look good on instagram today, 5 years from now, and on your mantle for your grandchildren to admire in 50 years.

How did you get started in the wedding industry?

I got my start as an intern for a color-loving and prestigious wedding photographer in San Francisco, when I was in college. From my very first wedding, I knew that being trusted to capture such a monumental moment in a couple’s life was the greatest honor and project I could ever take on. I haven’t stopped working with incredible couples since!

Where do you find your design inspiration?

I find a lot of inspiration from music. I grew up on Taylor Swift's greatest love songs after all. But the power of great storytelling in my favourite music drives me to learn as much as I can about who my clients are, and it reminds me just how precious it is to be trusted with the documentation of a lifelong love.
